Founded over 20 years ago by Rev. Andre and Helen Broady, our organization has been a beacon of hope, providing affordable housing and specialized care to a diverse range of populations in need. Our mission is simple yet profound: to offer safe, inclusive living environments for men and women seeking transitional housing solutions. Whether it's single males or females, those in sober living, recovering from addiction, re-entry populations, or individuals facing financial hardship, Genesis is committed to serving all with dignity and respect.
 
At Genesis, we believe in a holistic approach to care, addressing not just the physical needs but also the spiritual and personal development of our tenants. Through faith-based programs and partnerships with government and private agencies, we offer comprehensive services ranging from drug treatment to financial assistance, ensuring that our tenants receive the support they need to thrive. With a dedicated team of house managers, administrative assistants, ministers, and a collaborative network of professional colleagues, including clinical social workers, credentialed alcohol and drug counselors, cooks, drivers, and others, we ensure that our tenants receive the highest quality of care and support.
 
In addition to housing and support services, Genesis operates a food pantry, not only to meet the immediate needs of our residents but also to foster a sense of community and empowerment through service. Since 2002, with a focus on problem-solving, flexibility, and rapid response to the evolving needs of our tenants, Genesis, Inc. has grown into a flexible, not-for-profit organization with a proven track record of success as an organization that uplifts and empowers individuals on their journey toward stability and self-sufficiency.
